With this album Sieuwerd Bin goes back to his own roots: An old songbook from the Youth For Christ movement in the sixties, from which his parents and their friends used to sing gospels together. Spirituals and gospels such as ‘All night, all day' and ‘I shall not be moved’ are put into his mixture of classical, folk and country music. Let him take you to the top of the stairs where he sat down as child and listened quietly to the talking, laughing and singing….
